YWCA Brooklyn provides Single Room Occupancy (SRO) Housing specifically for low-income single women. Units are private furnished rooms with shared kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and lounges. YWCA Brooklyn is conveniently located in Downtown Brooklyn, in a safe neighborhood one block from Atlantic Terminal, close to shopping, community resources, a medical center and cultural institutions.
Applicant Qualifications:
Minimum income $23,880* (must be verified) *Minimum incomes may not apply to applicants with qualifying rental subsidies
Permanent housing only - Residents must execute either a one- or two-year lease

YWCA Brooklyn provides two types of housing: Single Room Occupancy (SRO), specifically for low-income single women, and studio apartments. SRO units are private furnished rooms with shared kitchens and bathrooms.
