Volunteers Bring Warm Holiday Season to Residents

For the second year, volunteers from the Sony Music Global Digital Business Team brought love and light to YWCA Brooklyn by decorating throughout the building, sending individual holiday cards to all 300 residents, staff, board members and programming participants from our College Access Program and Immigrant Women Program, and donating gifts to our seniors. It was a memorable day that brightened the start of the holiday season for so many.

Later in December, the celebration of Winter Solstice has become a tradition for the residents of YWCA Brooklyn. This year, we were happy to welcome volunteers from Forefront Church to help set up gifts for our event and serve meals graciously donated by Sony Music. The event was filled with games and fun activities like the electric slide and salsa, which our residents enjoyed so much.
